ata urdhvam talu mule saharsraram saroruham,
asti yatra susumnaya mulan savivaram sthitam

Above this, at the base of the palate, is the thousand-petalled lotus, in that part where the hole of that sushumna is.

Diatasnya, pada dasar langit-langit, ada ribuan daun bunga teratai pada bagian itu dimana liang susumna berada.

talu mule susumna sa adhovaktra pravartate,
mula dharenayonyastah sarvanadhyah samasritah.
ta bija bhutas tattvasya brahma marga pradayikah.

From the base or root of the palate, the sushumna extendsdownwards, till it reaches the Muladhar and the perineum: all vessels surround it, or are supported by it. These nadis are the seeds of mystery, or the sources of all principles which constitute a man, and show the road to Brahma (i.e. give salvation).

Dari dasar atau akar langit-langit, susumna meluas menuju kebawah hingga mencapai muladhara dan ruang antara dubur dan vulva; semua pembuluh mengelilinginya atau ditunjang olehnya. Nadi-nadi ini merupakan benih-benih rahasia atau sumber dari segala prinsipnya yang menyusun seorang manusia dan menunjukkan jalan kepada Brahman (yaitu: yang memberi kebebasan).

talusthine ca yat padmam sahasraram purahitam,
tat kande yonir ekasti pascimabhi mukhi mata.

The lotus which is at the root of the palate is called the Sahasrar (the thousand-petalled); in its centre, there is a yoni (seat or force-centre) which has its face downwards.

Teratai yang ada pada akar langit-langit disebut sahasrara (ribuan daun bunga); pada titik pusatnya ada suatu yoni (kedudukan atau pusat daya) yang memiliki muka (mulut) mengarah kebawah.

tasya madhye susumnaya mulam savivaram sthitam,
brahmarandhram tad evoktama muladhara pankajam.

In that is the root of the sushumna, together with its hole; this is called the Brahmarandhra (the hole of Brahma), extending up to the Muladhar padma.

Didalamnya dalah akar susumna, bersama-sama dengan liangnya; inilah yang disebut brahmarandhra (liang Brahma), yang menyebar naik ke muladhara padma.

tatas tad randhre tac chaktih susumna kundali sada,
susumnayam sada saktis citra syan mama vallabhe.
tasyam mama mate karyam brhamarandhradi kalpana.

In that hole of the sushumna there dwells as its inner force the Kundalini. In the sushumna there is also a constant current of force called chitra, its actions or modifications should be called, in my opinion as Brahmarandhra, etc.

Didalam liang susumna itu bersemayam sebagai tenaga batin kundalini. didalam susumna itu juga ada aliran daya tetap yang disebut citra, dimana kegiatan atau perubahannya menurut pendapat-Ku haursnya disebut sebagai brahmarandhra dsb.

yasyah smarana matrena brahma jnatvam prajayate,
papa ksayas ca bhavati na bhuyah puruso bhavet.

By simply remembering this, one obtains the knowledge of Brahman, all sins are destroyed, and one is
never born again as man.

Hanya dengan mengingatnya saja seseorang memperoleh pengetahuan tentang Brahman, segala dosa terhancurkan dan seseorang tak akan pernah lahir kembali sebagai manusia.

pravesitam calangustham mukhesvasya nivesayet,
tenatra na vahat yeva dehacari samirajnah.

Let him thrust the moving thumb into its mouth : by this the air, which flows through the body, is stopped.

Biarlah ia mendorong gerakan ibu jari kedalam mulutnya; dengan cara ini udara yang mengalir melalui badan terhenti.

tena samsara cakresmin bhramatity era sarvada,
tad artham ye pravartante yogi na prana dharane,
tata evakhila nadi viruddha castavestanam,
iyam kundalini sakti randhram tyajati nanyatha.

Owing to this (vayu) man wanders in the circle of the universe; the Yogis, therefore, do not desire to keep up this circulation; all the nadis are bound by eight knots; only this Kundalini can pierce these knots and pass out of the Brahmarandhra, and show the way to salvation.

Disebabkan oleh vayu ini manusia mengembara dalam lingkaran alam semesta; karena itu, yogi janganlah menginginkan perputaran ini; segala nadi diikat oleh delapan simpul dan hanya kundalini yang dapat menembus simpul-simpul ini dan melewati brahmarandhra serta menunjukkan jalan pembebasan.

yada purnasu nadisu san niruddhanilas tada,
bandha tyagena kundalya mukham randhrad bahir bhavet.

When the air is confined full in all the vessels, then the Kundalini leaves these knots and forces its way out of the Brahmarandhra.

Bila udara dibatasi sepenuhnya disemua pembuluh, maka kundalini meninggalkan simpul-simpul ini dan memaksa jalannya keluar dari brahmarandhra.

susumnayam sadaivayam vahet prana samirana,
mula padmasthita yonir vamadaksinakonatah.
ida pimgalayor madhye susumna yoni madhyaga
.

Then the vital air continually flows in the sushumna. On the right and the left side of the Muladhar, are
situated the ida and the pingala. The Sushumna passes through the middle of it.

Kemudian udara vital secara terus menerus mengalir dalam susumna. disebelah kanan dan kiri muladhara, terletak ida dan pingala. Susumna menembus ditengah-tengahnya.

brahmarandhram tu tatra iva susumna dhara mandale,
yo janati sa muktah syat karma bandhad vicaksanah.

The hollow of the sushumna in the sphere of the adhar is called the Brahmarandhra. The wise one who
knows this is emancipated from the chain of karma.

Rongga dari susumna didaerah adhara disebut brahmarandhra. orang bijaksana yang mengetahui ini, dibebaskan dari belenggu karma.

brahmarandhra mukhe tasam samgamah syad asamsayah,
tasmin snane snatakanam muktih syad avirodhatah.

All these three vessels meet certainly at the mouth of the Brahmarandhra; by bathing at this place one
certainly obtains salvation.

Ketiga pembuluh ini secara pasti bertemu pada mulut brahmarandhra; dengan membasahi tempat ini seseorang secara pasti memperoleh pembebasan.
