ajna padmam bhruvor madhye haksopetam dvi patrakam
suklabham tan mahakalah siddho devy atra hakini

The two-petalled Chakra, called the Ajña, is situated between the two eye-brows, and has the letters h and ksh; its presiding adept is called Shukla Mahakala (the White Great Time); its presiding goddess is called Hakini.

Cakra yang berdaun bunga dua yang disebut ajna, terletak antara kedua alis mata dan memiliki aksara (h) dan (ks); pimpinan ahlinya disebut sukla mahakala (waktu agung putih); pimpinan dewinya disebut Hakini

sarac camdranibham tatraksara bijam vijrmbhitam
puman paramahamso ‘yam yaj jnatva navasidati

Within that petal, there is the eternal bija (the syllable tham), brilliant as the autumnal moon. The wise
anchorite, by knowing this, is never pulled down.

Dalam daun bunga itu ada bija (benih) abadi (suku kata tham) yang cemerlang sebagai rembulan musim gugur. Pertapa yang bijaksana dengan mengetahuinya tak pernah merosot

etad eva parantejah sarva tantresu mantrinah
cinta yitva param siddhim labhate natra samsayah

This is the great light held secret in all the Tantras; by contemplating on this, one obtains the highest
success, there is no doubt of it.

Ini merupakan sinar hebat yang tersimpan secara rahasia dalam semua tantra dan dengan merenungkan padanya seseorang mendapatkan keberhasilan tertinggi, tak ada keragu-raguan tentang hal ini.

turiyam tritayam lingam tad aham mukti dayakah
dhyana matrena yogindro matsamo bhavati dhruvam

I am the giver of salvation, I am the third linga in the turiya (the state of ecstasy, also the name of the thousand-petalled lotus). By contemplating on this, the Yogi becomes certainly like me.

Aku adalah pemberi pembebasan, Aku adalah linga ketiga dalam turiya (keadaan suka cita yang amat sangat, juga nama ribuan daun bunga teratai). Dengan merenungkannya yogi pasti akan seperti Aku.

ida hi pingala khyata varanasiti hocyate
varanasi tayor madhye visva nathotra bhasitah

The two vessels called the ida and the pingala are the real Varana and Asi. The space between them is
called Varanasi (Benares, the holy city of Siva). There it is said that the Vishwanatha (the Lord of the
universe) dwells.

Dua pembuluh yang disebut ida dan pingala merupakan varana dan asi yang sebenarnya. Ruang antara keduanya disebut Varanasi (Benares, kota suci Siva). Dikatakan bahwa di sana bersemayam Visvanatha (penguasa alam semesta)

etat ksetrasya mahatmayam rsibhis tattva darsibhih,
sastresu bahudha proktam param tattvam subhasitam.

The greatness of this holy place has been declared in manifold scriptures by the truth-perceiving sages. Its great secret has been very eloquently dwelt upon by them.

Keagungan tempat suci ini telah dinyatakan dalam berbagai naskah suci oleh kebenaran persepsi para bijak. kemaha rahasiaannya telah sangat terkenal dan menjadi buah bibir diantara mereka.
