Sakti-Calana

Siva Samhita
Bab IV

Sakti-Calana
atha sakticalanamudra

76
adharakamale suptam calayet kundalim drdham,
apanavayumaruhya baladakrsya buddhiman,
sakticalana mudreyam sarvasakti pradayini.

Let the wise Yogi forcibly and firmly draw up the goddess Kundali sleeping in the adhar lotus, by means of the apana vayu. This is Shakti-chalan mudra, the giver of all powers.

77
sakticalanam evam hi pratyaham yah samacaret,
ayur vrddhir bhavet tasya roganam ca vinasanam.

He who practices this Shakti-chalan daily, gets increase of life and destruction of diseases.

78
vihaya nidra bhujagim svayam urdhve bhavet khalu,
tasmad abhyasanam karyam yogina siddham icchata.

Leaving sleep, the serpent (i.e. the Kundalini) herself goes up; therefore let the Yogi desirous of power
practice this.

79
yah karoti sadabhyasam sakticalanam uttamam,
yena vigraha siddhih syad animadi gunaprada,
gurupadesa vidhina tasya mrtyu bhayam kutah.

He who practices always this best Shakti-chalan according to the instructions of his Guru, obtains the
vigraha-siddhi, which gives the powers of anima, etc., and has no fear of death.
