‘(“Asamprajnata samadhi” may be attained) by birth (in those who have previously achieved) bodilessness or a merging with “Prakriti”.’

The highest state of ‘samadhi’ is not achieved on one lifetime. It takes many incarnations to make the innumerable fine adjustments necessary for God-Realization. Many who do reach ‘asamprajnata samadhi’ have done the major part of their work in previous lives and return only to attain the final goal. Some have already reached the level of ‘deva’, an advance spiritual being not living in a physical form. Or they may
have progressed as far as merging with ‘Prakriti’, when meditation on the elements of nature has been perfected. In either case, merging with the Self is all that remains to be achieved.
